Welcome to 4th Grade!  I'm Ellen Deathridge and this is my ninth year at DCA.  I taught in the Metro Public School system for eight years prior to being called to DCA.  I am blessed to have 3 wonderful children, Scott, Matt, and Emily.  Scott is a graduate of DCA and is a senior at APSU.   Matt is a freshmen at Tennessee Tech University and Emily a ninth grader.  I am married to Scott Deathridge and just celebrated 27 wonderful years of marriage.   In my free time, I love to read, be outdoors, and spend time with my family.  I am also an active member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church.  

Teaching has always been a life long dream of mine and I truly love working with children.  I hope to instill in all my students a life long love  of learning.  I also hope to help every child see the great gifts and talents God has blessed  them with and bring them closer to a true relationship with Him.  What a great blessing it is to be at DCA where I can teach in a biblical world view and pray with students daily.  Each day brings new adventures and learning.  My classroon is a welcomed place for you to be!
